The Bataan Risers squad that will participate in the inaugural Chooks-to-Go Pilipinas 3x3 basketball league is essentially a UAAP all-star team.

Listed in the Risers’ squad are: Ateneo's Anton Asistio, Adamson's Sean Manganti, University of the East's Alvin Pasaol, and La Salle's Leonard “Santi” Santillan.

“I played against these guys in college and having them now as teammates is a cool thing. There’s some familiarity of what we can all do having played each other so it will be interesting to see how we mesh together,” Manganti said.

The Chooks to Go Pilipinas 3x3 basketball tournament is designed to help the country accumulate points to qualify for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. The league features 12 teams from both the D-League and the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League.

The six-leg, round-robin format of the first conference will all be played at SM malls, with each leg having a champion.
