MANILA, Philippines – Juami Tiongson waxed hot for 32 points as league-leading AMA Online Education owned Cignal-San Beda, 94-85, in the PBA D-League Aspirants Cup on Tuesday at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City.

The Titans' lead playmaker was at his best in the final quarter, where he scored 12 points. Tiongson wound up making 10 of his 16 attempts, while adding 6 rebounds and 3 assists.

AMA coach Mark Herrera said he called on Tiongson to make the most of his extra minutes, after reserve guard Diego Dario quit the league to focus on his studies.

"I'm happy, but I'm not surprised din naman," said Herrera. "Si Juami talaga ang isa sa nagdadala sa team."
