In the second half, however, the Altas got away from what worked for them. Lim said his players were much too eager to get the job done, which led to multiple mistakes.

That the Altas were a bit "wild" was of no surprise to Lim, who formally took over as Perpetual Help's head coach just last week. He was initially brought in to be a consultant, but wound up replacing Nosa Omorogbe.

Nevertheless, Lim is quite optimistic that the Altas have potential, as he draws hope from their performance in the first half against Che'Lu-San Sebastian.

Besides, what is important is that the Altas are competing and getting some much needed experience ahead of the NCAA season, especially as they adjust to life with Lim as their head coach.
