MANILA, Philippines -- San Miguel guard Terrence Romeo is expected to miss two more games -- including a showdown against his former team -- as he continues to recover from a sprained left ankle.

Romeo suffered the injury in the third quarter of the Beermen's 124-118 loss to Columbian Dyip last Friday in their first game of the 2019 PBA Philippine Cup.

He did not see action as San Miguel held off Barangay Ginebra, 99-91, on Sunday to barge into the win column.

That means Romeo will sit out San Miguel's game against the Meralco Bolts on Friday at the Ynares Center, and a highly anticipated showdown against TNT KaTropa next Sunday at the Araneta Coliseum.
