MANILA – Phoenix’s Doug Kramer has joined team practices 3 months after he suffered a mild stroke that sidelined him from the basketball.

In a Twitter Q&A held by the PBA, the 6-foot-5 center-forward said that his progress has been good.

“I'm doing very well. The past 6-7 weeks, I was working out talaga. I've been joining team practice already but no contacts yet. I'll do that next week,” Kramer told his fans. “God's grace has been overflowing.”

“I've been doing a lot of weightlifting and conditioning and practices I've been running up and own with the team already, drills and conditioning. 5-on-5 will be next week, I'll join,” narrated Kramer. “Kelan ako makakabalik? Kramer, a 10-year veteran, acknowledged that he missed playing with the big guys. He had to hold himself from joining 5-on-5 games because he wasn’t allowed by doctors.
