College of Saint Benilde once again bested Arellano University on penalties, 3-2, Wednesday night at Rizal Memorial Football Stadium to win the NCAA Season 93 men's football championship.

Riding the momentum of its Match 2 win, Benilde struck first, with Miguel Artillera scoring in the 38th minute.

Roberto Corsame Jr. gave Arellano life in the second half, as he connected on an equalizer in the 49th.

As with their previous two finals meetings, regulation time wasn't enough to decide a winner, and for the third time in as many games, Benilde and Arellano went to extra time.

With fatigue kicking in, the additional 30 minutes saw no conversions from either side and once again a penalty shootout was needed.

In the shootout, Arellano got out to an early 2-1 lead, with Earl Laguerta's attempt getting denied by Arellano keeper Jericho Desalisa.

It would all go downhill for Arellano from there, as the Chiefs missed their next two attempts, allowing CSB to take the driver's seat and lead 3-2 following Major Dean Ebarle's attempt.

The make-or-break attempt for Arellano went to Corsame and, with a chance to keep the Chiefs afloat, fired his shot but was denied by Blazers keeper Jake Vicen to seal the win.

For the first time since the 2009-2010 NCAA season, the Blazers are once again kings of NCAA football, their third title in school history.
