When the PBA tipped off Sunday, January 13, at Philippine Arena in Bulacan, the league paraded 77 alumni from UAAP schools and 47 from the NCAA.

All eight UAAP and all 10 NCAA schools including former member, Philippine Christian University (PCU) are represented in the pro league. Other leagues represented include the Cebu Schools Athletic Foundation Inc. (CESAFI) and the National Athletic Association of Schools, Colleges and Universities (NAASCU).

Those former Blue Eagles include: GBoy Babilonia, Nonoy Baclao, Justin Chua, Nico Elorde, JP Erram, Larry Fonacier, Frank Golla, JC Intal, Doug Kramer, Chris Newsome, Von Pessumal, Kris Porter, Nico Salva, Greg Slaughter, LA Tenorio and Juami Tiongson.
