Olympic silver medalist Hidilyn Diaz feels she knows what has been ailing Philippine sports and didn't hesitate to speak her mind online.

The multi-awarded weightlifter from Zamboanga City posted a picture online showing a training facility in Manila.

Diaz, who won the country's first Olympic medal in 20 years during the 2016 Summer Games, said the lack of support has been hampering local athletes from reaching their true potential.

Her post garnered reactions from fans and fellow athletes.
