The defending champion Ateneo de Manila Blue Eagles will look to soar high once again, as they open the UAAP Season 78 Men's Volleyball tournament on Saturday, January 30, against the University of Santo Tomas Growling Tigers.

Former champions and last year's runners-up National University Bulldogs will get their first taste of Season 78 action on Sunday, January 31, when they meet the Adamson Falcons.
