The Negros Occidental boxer fought his way to a draw in his first big-time fight against Donnie Nietes in 2018, and now Palicte is looking for an early start to title contention.

He spent the holidays in the US training for his January 31 bout against undefeated Puerto Rican Jose Martinez at Viejas Casino and Resort in San Diego, Calif.
