Police Col. Jack Malinao, provincial police director, confirmed the arrests in separate manhunt operations in Barangay Caloocan, Balayan.

The kidnapping case was initially dismissed in April 16 but Camilon's family filed a motion for reconsideration, which was granted on Aug. 15.

The court issued an arrest warrant on Sept. 4.

“[K]aya agad-agad po nagpa-create ang ating regional director sa supervision ng ating provincial director ng Special Intelligence and Tracker Team para mai-serve ang warrant of arrest at ma-apprehend ang mga suspek," said Police Maj. Dave Mercado, Batangas PNP Public Information Office chief.

(So the regional director ordered the creation of a Special Intelligence and Tracker Team under the supervision of the provincial director to serve the warrant and apprehend the suspects)

The two are currently detained at the Balayan Custodial Facility. — With a report from Raya Capulong, ABS-CBN News
