MANILA — The families of a missing beauty queen and her Israeli fiancé sought help from the National Bureau of Investigation on Friday, two weeks into the search for the couple.

Geneva Lopez, 27, and Yitchak Cohen, 37, went missing after meeting a middleman to inspect the land they were interested in buying in Tarlac on June 21.

The sport utility vehicle they had used was found burning along the Capas-San Jose Road two days later.

“Ang gusto lang namin, ma-tap lahat ng mga tao na pwedeng makatulong samin. That’s why lumalapit na din kami sa ibang ahensya ng mga awtoridad,” said Lopez's sister.

Cohen did not receive any threat prior to the his disappearance, said his brother Yaniv, who offered a reward for any information on the couple's whereabouts.
