Former president Rodrigo Duterte on Thursday said televangelist Apollo Quiboloy could be hiding in the Kingdom of Jesus Christ's properties in Barangay Tamayong in Calinan District, Davao City.

In a press conference in Davao City on Thursday, Duterte revealed Quiboloy's possible location after giving an advice to the controversial televangelist who is facing arrest warrants and arrest orders from regional trial courts and from the Senate.

"As a lawyer, I would say that you can go to court and fix your case and post a bail bond. but if you think that you will get the fair deal with this administration, eh wag kang lumabas diyan sa Tamayong. Nandiyan lang siya sa Tamayong. Malaki lang ang Tamayong," Duterte said.

He said Quiboloy could also be hiding at the KOJC compound in Buhangin District near the Davao International Airport.

But the search could pose a challenge for the authorities as Brgy. Tamayong is large and a search warrant is needed for each house that will be inspected.

“Ang Tamayong malaki 'yan, sa loob maraming bahay. Make sure na sa isang bahay nandiyan siya because for every bahay it should be a different search warrant,” he said.

Duterte also denied that he is coddling Quiboloy, and denies hiding him even in his house.

He will also not accept if Quiboloy surrenders to him.

“Hindi ko siya tatanggapin. Hindi ako ang authority. Hindi ako ang nagdadala ng warrant,” he said.

Duterte also explained his role as an administrator of the KOJC. 

“Administrator, that means when he is not around. Ngayon, probably in hiding, somebody has to see the management of the kingdom, to preserve the kingdom, not to go into waste. Sayang nandiyan na yan. Kingdom of God 'yan,” he said.
