MANILA - A nine-year-old girl of Filipino descent is the official representative of New Zealand in the World Championships of Performing Arts (WCOPA) next year.

Born of Filipino parents, Jazz Dacanay Vidamo comes from a family of singers and musicians.

She started singing at the age of 2 years old, and started competing and performing at the age of 5.
