MANILA - A tourist in Taiwan posted viral photos showing a bus with a sign "Huwag Maingay" (Be Silent) in what seemed to be directed at Filipino visitors.

Tourist Ariel Gonzales Abalos said bus drivers in Taiwan scold Filipinos who are noisy because they were enjoying their surroundings.

"Lalapitan ka or mag-microphone para sabihin manahimik ka. Pati Taiwan citizen nanaway din po talaga. Pero sadyang maingay po talaga ang Pinoy or masayahin lng po talaga siguro tayo," Abalos told ABS-CBN News.

The bus, Abalos said, was going to Zhongli district when he saw the sign.
