Winter came early to South Korea as snow fell half-a-month earlier than expected, the country's tourism promotion arm said Thursday.
A video posted by the Korea Tourism Organization in their Facebook account showed snow-covered trees and lodges in the Seoraksan National Park.
"First snow in October?! Snow in Seoraksan National Park came 16 days earlier than last year!" KTO wrote in the video's caption.
The tourism office reminded tourists to pack thick clothes and bundle up should they decide to go to South Korea.
Elsewhere in South Korea, Autumn is apparent.
