Super Typhoon Lawin (International name Haima) unleashed its raw power as it made its landfall over Penablanca, Cagayan on Wednesday night. Civil defense officials have confirmed at least 8 death because of the tropical cyclone, even as they await for reports from other affected areas in Luzon.
