Nabalot ng vog o volcanic smog ang ilang lugar sa Batangas dahil sa abnormal na aktibidad ng Bulkang Taal. Dito naman sa Metro Manila, ilang lugar ang nakaranas ng smog o haze. Ayon sa PAGASA, ang smog sa NCR ay dahil sa thermal inversion.
