MANILA — Former Iloilo City Mayor Jed Mabilog, who has been on self-imposed exile abroad, has surrendered to the National Bureau of Investigation in Manila.

According to the NBI, Mabilog, through his counsel, surrendered to authorities at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 3.

"He is currently being processed at NBI-IAID and he will be brought later to the Sandiganbayan for return of the warrant of arrest against him," it added.
