The Philippines conducted the Multilateral Maritime Cooperative Activity (MCA) with the armed forces of Australia, Canada and the United States of America in the Western Command (WESCOM) within the Philippine Exclusive Economic Zone from August 7 to 8.


The joint exercises was participated by naval vessels and aircraft from the four countries.

In videos released by the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) Canada's Sikorsky CH148 Cyclone can be seen flying over the participating vessels during the activity.

A Rigid-Hull Inflatable Boat of the Philippine Navy deployed by BRP Jose Rizal also took part in the cross-deck operation


The MCA is a series of events designed to enhance interoperability and cooperation among the participating forces.
