Shiela Guo now in better condition after arrival in PH: DOJ

MANILA — Department of Justice Spokesperson Mico Clavano said the condition of Shiela Guo, who was reportedly feeling unwell at  NAIA Terminal 1 upon arrival, has improved.

Shiela, the sister of dismissed Bamban Mayor Alice Guo, was seen on a wheelchair at the airport.

“The medical results have not been finalized, however, just from the look of things mukhang okay naman silang dalawa,” Clavano told the reporters in an interview at the Bureau of Immigration in Manila City, Thursday evening.

“Kasi kanina dinumog sila probably from lack of oxygen and space. Nagulat na lang siguro sila marami ang naka-abang sa kanila. medyo sumama pakiramdam ni Shiela Guo. But upon arrival we made sure maganda kalagayan nila,” he added.

Shiela, along with Cassandra Li Ong, was brought to the BI for medical examination and inquest.

Ong will undergo inquest for obstruction of justice and violation of the Passport Act while Shiela will be charged for violation of immigration laws.

Both will be in the custody of the National Bureau of Investigation.
