School principal Emelita Medina said they allow some parents to bring and fetch their children, directly going to classrooms as long as they have a fetcher's ID.

"Hinahayaan na namin ang mga magulang na umakyat, ihahatid ang mga bata at pagkatapos sa hapon ay susunduin na. So in our part, wala na kaming pangamba na merong mawawalang bata, walang mahuhulog sa hagdanan. Kasi hindi natin pwedeng tipunin ang mga bata natin sa ibaba or doon sa labas," she said.

The school is also preparing for the upcoming retrofitting of its buildings.

"Last week, we had a consultation with the DPWH with regards to retrofitting. Kasi meron silang findings about buildings namin na kailangan nating i-improve iyong ating structural integrity. So we are now preparing some contingency plan with regards to that, kasi probably year 2026 the school will undergo retrofitting," Medina said.

Meantime, principal Richard Santos shared how the school is being able to implement a single shift for all students - from 7 am to 2 pm or 2:30 pm - despite having almost 13,000 enrollees.

Meantime, the DepEd clarified that the Accountancy, Business, and Management (ABM) strand of Senior High School in Balingasa High School, Quezon City will continue to operate. This comes after a group of parents complained to the agency of the "potential dissolution" of the said strand in the school.
