PAOCC spokesperson Winston Casio said the coming complaints are separate from those filed by the Department of the Interior and Local Government against Guo before the Ombudsman in relation to the Philippine Offshore Gaming Operations hub raid in her municipality early this year.

“Yung anti-graft, hindi na po namin siya sasampahan noon. Maaring sampahan din po namin siya ng violations ng Securities Regulation Code, maging yung ibang opisyal ng Hong Sheng at saka yung Zun Yuan at Baofu,” Casio said.

(We will no longer file the ant-graft charges. We might still file for violations of the Securities and Regulation Code, even against the officers of Hong Sheng, Zun Yuan and Baofu.)

On the tax evasion charges, Casio said other local officials may be included, aside from Guo.

“I could not quantify, pero malaki po, kita mo naman ang lifestyle ni Mayor Guo,” Casio said.

Casio said the tax evasion charges involve the years when Guo was involved with the raided POGO when she was still a private citizen.

“I am not in possession of the actual documents, pero I would imagine, yeah nung involved pa po siya siguro sa Hong Sheng at Baofu,” Casio said.

Casio was at the DOJ Monday morning for the continuing preliminary investigation on the Pasay City Philippine Offshore and Gaming Operations hub raid to ensure that all those involved will be indicted.
