MANILA — The National Bureau of Investigation's (NBI) Violence Against Women and Children Division arrested on Monday 39-year-old "Jay" after his daughter accused him of rape.

His 14-year-old daughter filed the rape complaint on Sunday morning.

According to NBI-VAWCD chief Yehlen Agus, the victim’s medical checkup showed that she sustained some wounds in her genitals.

A few days later, her father did it too and raped her repeatedly whenever her mother left for work. The victim said her father raped her almost daily for two years.

"Jay" admitted everything his daughter said.

“Natukso rin ako sa ginawa niya... Ginaya ko po," he said.

Besides having a wife, he admitted that he also has a girlfriend and a boyfriend.

"Jay" is currently detained and is facing a statutory rape complaint filed by the NBI at the Quezon City Prosecutor's Office.

His brother-in-law is also being investigated for rape.

The victim is now under the care of the Department of Social Welfare and Development while undergoing counseling.
