Bamban, Tarlac Mayor Alice Guo denied Monday owning a luxury car, describing herself as a simple citizen in the province.

This, after a report claimed Guo's alleged P33-million luxury car won in a car show held in Concepcion, Tarlac in December 2023.

"Actually it's a show. I don't own the McLaren," Guo told ABS-CBN News' Karen Davila in an exclusive interview.

This was after she denied being in cahoots with Philippine Offshore Gaming Operators (POGO) in Bamban, Tarlac.

Wala po akong gano'ng kalaking koneksiyon," she said.

She, however, confirmed that she owned a chopper back in 2019 which she said was supposed to be used for an "air taxi" business idea she tried to venture in.

When asked if she still owns the taxi at present, Guo said she already sold it this 2024 as her business idea did not come to fruition.

The Bamban, Tarlac mayor recently became controversial after being linked to POGOs and for allegedly having a questionable citizenship.
