MANILA -- A sinkhole discovered along Sales Road in Pasay City on Sunday prompted the closure of a portion of the eastbound lane to vehicles.

The closed section is from Gate 3 to Gate 4 of Villamor Airbase, limiting eastbound traffic to a single lane.

To ease the inconvenience for motorists, a zipper lane has been established on Andrews Road to facilitate the smooth passage of vehicles. Staff from the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) and Pasay Traffic and Parking Management Office (TPMO) have been deployed to oversee and assist motorists navigating the area.
