Damage to infrastructure has reached P469 million across Cagayan Valley, Central Luzon and Cordillera.

STATE OF CALAMITY DECLARED IN SOME AREAS

A state of calamity has been declared in Quirino province, in Santiago and Cabagan in Isabela province, as well as in Dilasag, Aurora and in Paracelis, Mountain Province.

Aguinaldo town in Ifugao has issued a similar declaration.

Declaring a state of calamity gives a local government access to disaster response funds and freezes prices of basic goods to prevent hoarding and profiteering.
