MANILA -- Philippine National Police ( PNP) confirmed that detained Kingdom of Jesus Christ Leader Apollo Quiboloy was taken to the Philippine Children's Medical Center (PCMC) on Wednesday night from the Philippine Heart Center, where he was hospitalized.

According to PNP spokesperson Brig. Gen. Jean Fajardo, Quiboloy was brought to the Philippine Children's Hospital around 8:49 p.m. for further examinations because the equipment needed for the medical tests was not available at the Philippine Heart Center.

Fajardo said that the transfer of Quiboloy to the hospital was in accordance with a court order, but after the tests, the pastor was brought back to the Philippine Heart Center around 9:10 PM.

Fajardo did not specify what specific medical tests were conducted on Quiboloy at PCMC.

“Pursuant to an order from the court ay dinala mga around  8:49 p.m. kagabi si Apollo Quiboloy from the Philippine Heart Center ay dinala siya sa Philippine Children’s Hospital, magkalapit lang naman yan to undergo some test that would require the use of a certain equipment and mga around 9:10 p.m. ay naibalik na rin siya sa PHC,” Fajardo said.

Quiboloy will remain at the Philippine Heart Center until Saturday before being brought back to the PNP Custodial Center at Camp Crame by 5 PM on November 16, based on the court's order.

Fajardo added that the series of medical tests for Quiboloy at the Philippine Heart Center is nearly complete.

“May mga medical abstract na po na pinadala sa PNP  but I'm not at liberty to discuss yung mga medical findings. Let us wait po na matapos po ng lahat nitong mga test. As of kagabi po ay may isa pa pong test na isinagawa but yung iba pong mga test ay tapos na, may mga results na rin po but  let us wait po na matapos yung mga test at po-providan naman po ang PNP General Hospital ng kopya po na ito and we will take our cue from courts kung ano po  yung mga nexrt developments,” Fajardo added.

Quiboloy was brought to the Philippine Heart Center on November 8 due to an irregular heartbeat.
