MANILA (UPDATED) — Former President Rodrigo Duterte on Wednesday said he was asking the International Criminal Court — whose jurisdiction his administration and the current Marcos Jr. administration do not recognize — to rush its investigation into his war on drugs over alleged crimes against humanity.

Asked to clarify if this meant he would cooperate with the tribunal, Duterte said, “The ICC does not scare me a bit. They can come here anytime… Wala naman tayong taguan.
