Government security forces raid a BPO compound in Bagac, Bataan on October 31,2024 alleged to be an illegal Philippine offshore gaming operator (POGO), following a search warrant for human trafficking violations.

Elements of the Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Commission (PAOCC), along with the Philippine National Police Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (PNP-CIDG) and Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) raided the Central One establishment inside the freeport zone in Bagac.

The CEO of the company, Norman Chaw, showed himself to authorities and denied it was a scam hub but a legitimate business process outsourcing (BPO) company.

President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. ordered a ban on POGOs during his third State of the Nation Address (SONA) last July due to their involvement in criminal activities.
