Invited by Marcos Jr. himself, it will be the first standalone bilateral visit of a Republic of Korea (ROK)'s president in the country since 2011.

According to the Presidential Communications Office on Thursday, Marcos and First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos will officially welcome Yoon and First lady Kim Keon Hee during the ceremonies at the Malacañang Palace on October 7.
