In its latest bulletin as of writing, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said it has monitored 12 tremors emanating from several kilometers east of Governor Generoso town, one from west of Lupon town, and another one from east of Manay town.

The temblors had magnitudes ranging from 2.2 to 3.3, according to the data. The strongest was recorded at 6:04 a.m from 154 km east of Governor Generoso.

The 7.2-magnitude earthquake hit 170 kilometers southeast of Governor Generoso town at 11:39 a.m. Saturday and was of tectonic origin with a depth of 54 kilometers, according to PHIVOLCS.
