MANILA - State weather bureau PAGASA late Friday issued an orange rainfall warning over Southern Quezon due to rains brought by tropical depression Usman and the northeast monsoon.

PAGASA said flooding is threatening in low-lying and near river channel areas, where 15 to 30 millimeters of intense rain will observed in 1 hour and is expected to continue in the next 2 hours.

Light to moderate rains will, meanwhile, affect Metro Manila, Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, Zambales, Bataan, Tarlac, Nueva Ecija, Pampanga, Northern Quezon and Bulacan in the next 2 to 3 hours.
