MANILA (UPDATE) – A structure inside the compound of the Veterans Memorial Medical Center (VMMC) caught fire in Quezon City on Friday.

Bureau of Fire Protection said the fire started at the structure housing of the engineering department of the hospital compound, around 2 p.m.

The Bureau of Fire Protection said the blaze reached third alarm and firemen scrambled to contain the fire as the hospital was near a gasoline depot.
