Malacañang admitted Tuesday that it is still seeking confirmation on where President Rodrigo Duterte had sourced the P100,000 to P400,000 Christmas bonus that he reportedly gave to each star rank police official.

"Hindi pa po nako-confirm kung saan galing iyan. But definitely, it comes from the President. Mayroon siyang sariling fund. That's all I can say at this stage but I cannot say it's fully confirmed," presidential spokesperson Ernesto Abella told radio DZMM.
