Representatives of the "Duterte Youth" want Vice President Leni Robredo and left-leaning Cabinet secretaries to resign for criticizing President Rodrigo Duterte's decision on the Marcos burial.
The group, which countered the anti-Marcos protest in Rizal Park, held up a banner in support of Duterte's and the Supreme Court's decision allowing the burial in the Libingan ng mga Bayani.
University of the Philippines Vanguard Class of 2009 member John Ray Ramos, meanwhile, clarified rumors on social media that the Duterte Youth group represents the UP Vanguard.
"Let it be known that #DuterteYouth does not represent the #UPROTC nor the #UPVanguard. - John Ray Ramos, UP Vanguard Class 2009," he said in a tweet.
The late dictator Ferdinand Marcos was clandestinely buried at Heroes' Cemetery just 10 days after the high court allowed it.
The burial sparked protests in some parts of the country, with two expected major ones today and on November 30.
