MANILA - A magnitude 4.3 earthquake shook Agusan del Sur and nearby areas on Saturday, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology or Phivolcs said.

Phivolcs said the center of the tremor, which was tectonic in origin, was located 15 kilometers north west of La Paz town in Agusan del Sur at around 7:58 p.m.

Intensity 3, which may cause dizziness and nausea, was felt in Gingoog City in Misamis Oriental; while Intensity 2, which may felt by a few individuals at rest indoors, was felt in Medina town.
