MANILA - Presidential daughter Sara Duterte-Carpio has raised the hands of rival mayoral candidates in Pasay City, prompting confusion as to who she actually supports between Emi Calixto-Rubiano and Cesar “Chet” Cuneta.

On November 9, the Facebook page of Calixto-Rubiano posted a photo showing the candidate and the Davao City mayor with raised hands and President Rodrigo Duterte's popular fist bump pose.

The next day, Sharon Cuneta posted a series of photos with her brother Cesar and Duterte-Carpio.

One of the photos showed a note signed by Duterte-Carpio.

"Si Chet Cuneta po ang tunay na mayor natin sa Pasay City," it read.

Duterte-Carpio is known to be an avid fan of the Megastar and was even called a ’Sharonian’ by her father President Rodrigo Duterte.

On Tuesday, Calixto-Rubiano posted a photo with the President, thanking him for his support.

The President and his daughter earlier endorsed Marinduque Rep. Lord Allan Velasco as the next House Speaker, even as former Foreign Affairs Secretary Alan Peter Cayetano announced his speakership bid supposedly after Duterte suggested that he do so.
