MANILA - President Rodrigo Duterte has signed a slew of laws approving the declaration of various holidays around the Philippines.

Duterte signed the following Republic Acts on Oct. 30 and Nov. 8 declaring various holidays around the country, copies of which were released by the Palace on Thursday:

RA 11113 - An act declaring March 24 of every year a special non-working holiday in Ligao City, Albay in commemoration of its founding anniversary

RA 11114 - An act declaring December 8 of every year a special non-working holiday in Agoo, La Union in commemoration of its founding anniversary

RA 11115 - An act declaring June 16 of every year a special non-working holiday in Villanueva, Misamis Oriental in commemoration of its founding anniversary

RA 11116 - An act declaring September 17 of every year a special non-working holiday in Los Baños, Laguna in commemoration of its founding anniversary

RA 11117 - An act declaring July 4 of every year a special non-working holiday in Lanao del Norte in commemoration of its founding anniversary

RA 11118 - An act declaring May 22 of every year a special non-working holiday in Guimaras in commemoration of its anniversary as a province

RA 11119 - An act declaring April 3 of every year a special non-working holiday in Albay, including the cities therein, in commemoration of its founding anniversary

RA 11120 - An act declaring September 2 of every year a special non-working holiday in Ifugao in commemoration of the surrender of General Tomoyuki Yamashita, commander of the Japanese Imperial Army in the Philippines, in Kiangan, Ifugao

RA 11121 - An act declaring November 2 of every year a special non-working holiday in Misamis Occidental in commemoration of its founding anniversary

RA 11122 - An act declaring September 21 of every year a special working holiday in Cebu City and the entire province of Cebu, including its highly urbanized and component cities, to be known as “Cebu Press Freedom Day”

RA 11123 - An act declaring November 15 of every year a special non-working holiday in Occidental Mindoro in commemoration of its founding anniversary

RA 11124 - An act declaring September 7 of every year a special non-working holiday in Cavite City, Cavite in commemoration of its founding anniversary

RA 11125 - An act declaring June 17 of every year a special non-working holiday in Agusan del Sur in commemoration of its founding anniversary

RA 11126 - An act declaring November 22 of every year a special non-working holiday in Sultan Kudarat in commemoration of its founding anniversary

RA 11128 - An act declaring July 4 of every year a special non-working holiday in Cadiz City, Negros Occidental in commemoration of its charter day anniversary

RA 11129 - An act declaring June 27 of every year a special non-working holiday in El Salvador CIty, Misamis Oriental in commemoration of its charter day anniversary

RA 11130 - An act declaring December 1 of every year a special non-working holiday in Padre Garcia, Batangas in commemoration of its founding anniversary and the annual “Kabakahan Festival.”
