MANILA (UPDATED) -- President Rodrigo Duterte has appointed Davao City Rep. Karlo Nograles as Secretary to the Cabinet, Malacañang said Monday.

Nograles, who took his oath of office on Monday, will replace Cabinet Secretary Leoncio Evasco Jr, who resigned to run for governor of Bohol, said Presidential Spokesperson Salvador Panelo.
