(UPDATED) Several schools have announced the suspension of classes on November 2, in observance of All Souls' Day.

The government earlier declared October 31 as a special non-working holiday and November 1 (All Saints' Day) as an official holiday, but it was up to schools whether to suspend classes on Nov. 2.
