Senatorial aspirant and former executive secretary Vic Rodriguez on Thursday (February 13) answered the analogy of his ex-boss comparing administration bets with other election candidates.
President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr., in his February 11 speech, had said he felt sorry for other senatorial slates because of their supposed lack of qualifications.
"Nagtataka nga ako parang 'yung mga na naging kandidato, nag-deliver lang yata ng suka, nabigyan na ng certificate of candidacy dahil walang ikukumpara sa ating mga kandidato," Marcos said during the kickoff proclamation rally of the Alyansa Para sa Bagong Pilipinas at the Ilocos Norte Centennial Arena.
Rodriguez, who is part of the senatorial lineup backed by former president Rodrigo Duterte, responded: "Ako ho ay nakabili, nautusang bumili ng suka nang maraming ulit. May diploma ho ako at nakapagtapos ako ng kolehiyo, ng abogasya."
"Ako ay natutuwa kung ito man ang Team Suka. Isa po akong proud member ng Team Suka, at atin pong lalabanan ang Team Sinusuka," Rodriguez said during PDP-Laban's proclamation rally at Club Filipino in San Juan City.
