BAGUIO CITY -- Rains dumped by Typhoon Ompong in Baguio City on Saturday reached 760 millimeters, local officials said Sunday.

Baguio City Mayor Mauricio Domogan said this was more than a month's worth of rainfall as Baguio recorded 650 mm in August.

Saturday's heavy downpour inundated the city and triggered landslides.
