MANILA - Some 400 passengers were stranded at the Tabaco City port on Tuesday due to rains from the approaching tropical storm Jenny, its management said.

Food was given out to the passengers, who were bound for Catanduanes, the Tabaco Port Cargo Corp said.

Intermittent to frequent moderate to heavy rains will continue until Tuesday night over Bicol region and parts of Luzon, state weather bureau PAGASA said Tuesday morning.

Jenny, the 10th storm to enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility this year, was forecast to slam into Luzon late Tuesday or early Wednesday.
