BAGUIO CITY- A two-storey house in Camp Henry T. Allen, Baguio City caught fire Friday morning.
The fire started around 7:15 in the morning. One of the house's occupants, Kenneth Bang-on, woke up to thick smoke from one of the rooms.
He immediately alerted his family to get out of the house.
Due to narrow roads, the fire trucks were parked at the lower part of the street and the fire hoses had to be carried by Bureau of Fire Protection personnel upward until they reached the house.
Fire out was declared at around 7:40 a.m.
Authorities are still determining the cause of the fire and cost of damage.
