MANILA - For the first time in nearly six months, Mass was heard at the Cathedral of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel in Jolo, Sulu, where twin explosions in January left 22 dead and several others hurt.

According to the Catholic Bishops' Conference of the Philippines' (CBCP) news service, hundreds of parishioners attended the reconsecration of the cathedral, which also marked the feast of their patroness, Our Lady of Mt. Carmel.
