MANILA - Tropical depression "Falcon" may intensify into a tropical storm before making landfall over extreme northern Luzon on Wednesday, the state weather bureau said Monday.

The weather system was spotted 855 kilometers east of Casiguran, Aurora packing maximum sustained winds of 55 kilometers per hour (kph) and 65 kph gusts, PAGASA said.
