Based on the report released by the Manila Public Information Office, the Estrada administration left the city with P42,538,364.47 in suspensions, P67,165,880.48 in disallowances and P31,317,076.36 in charges.

None of these amounts were resolved between April 1 to June 30.

In an interview on DZMM, Estrada said he was ready to face any court after the COA reported that Manila had a deficit of P4.3 billion.

"If there is something wrong, sue me. I'm willing to face any. I inherited a bankrupt city. I paid all the debts and was able to put up all these projects, renovate all the hospitals — free hospitals, free doctors, free medicines, free burial," he said.

Estrada also said his conscience is clear, and all records have been turned over to the Department of the Interior and Local Government.
