MANILA - (2nd UPDATE) The habagat or southwest monsoon will continue to bring more rain in Metro Manila and other areas in Luzon on Independence Day, state weather bureau PAGASA said Tuesday morning.

Rains may trigger floods in low-lying areas in Bataan, Cavite and Batangas, PAGASA said in a 2 p.m. advisory.
