MANILA -- Manila Water customers in 20 barangays in Quezon City will experience water service interruptions of up to 7 hours starting Friday night.
The Ayala-led water distributor said it would close several valves on its major transmission lines along Elliptical Road to allow the interconnection of the new 900-millimeter relocated pipeline at the corner of North Avenue.
The interconnection will result in a service interruption from 11 p.m. Friday to 6 a.m., Saturday in the following areas:
Old Capitol Site
Teachers Village East
Teachers Village West
Manila Water advised residents in the affected villages to store water. Some of these areas may still experience service interruptions even after the scheduled restoration due to limited raw water supply.
